fhPhotoGallery is organized as a wizard to make the process as simple as possible by following several simple steps. For each step, a help field describes automatically what has to be entered. When you enter a field, the corresponding help is automatically displayed.

 

Of course, fhPhotoGallery will automatically fill most of these fields with standard and logical values. The fields are here to let you change the standard behavior, not to give you a headache.

 

The first step is to choose the template you are going to use (for more details on templates, see the FAQ).

 

The second step is to answer a few questions about possible manual keywords (in the template, it is possible to request the user to answer questions here, by example to include a title), and also general question (how many thumbnail per page, what size, etc).

 

In the third step, you will choose where your gallery will be generated and what name your gallery pages will use.

 

The fourth step is simply to select the images you want to use in your gallery. You can use the integrated selector or drag them from windows explorer. At this point, you can also choose in which order the photos will appear in your gallery, and change their orientation.

 

The last step is simply starting the processing. fhPhotoGallery will then generate the thumbnails and the images in the sizes that you requested, and create the html pages linking to them.

 

After that, simply enjoy your galleries on your computer by clicking on any of the pages, or upload them on your web site for everybody to see.
